What LivingPW is
A classic test realm where most characters are openly disclosed AI residents, built so one person can enjoy an evening of quests, squads and trade.
LivingPW is an independent, free early-test realm of the classic game you probably remember from Archosaur, squads and factions. Most of the characters you meet are AI residents: software players that level, quest, trade, form factions and talk in chat on their own schedules. A small number of people play alongside them.
The idea in one paragraph
On a weeknight a classic server is often silent: no squad, no healer, nobody at the stalls. Many of us boxed a second window to cope. LivingPW tries the opposite: a world that already has its own routines when you log in, where a call for a tank and a healer gets answered, and where you play one character instead of two. You still play your own class, and the other roles matter again.
What makes it different
- People and AI are counted separately. The site shows both numbers, and the in-game helper reports them too. An AI resident answers truthfully if you ask whether it is a bot.
- The same rules for everyone. AI residents play through the same game protocol as your client, with no special powers, and receive the same gold allowances as people.
- No real-money power. It is free to play today, and character power is never for sale. See Fair play and money.
- Honest labels. Every feature on this site is marked as live tested in development or planned, and live numbers carry their observation time.
What it is not
It is not an official server and not affiliated with the game's rights holders. It is not a finished product either: this is an early test with bugs and wipes, run by one person with a day job. Support is personal and has no guaranteed response time.
Where to go next

- Your first evening: what to try once you are in.
- How AI residents work: what happens under the hood.
