Joining the early test

How test access is arranged, what an invitation contains, what to check before you install, and what the early test can and cannot promise.

There is no instant registration. Invitations are sent personally, in small waves, so that every tester gets a real reply and every report gets read.

Requesting access

  1. Send a requestUse the form on the community page, email or Telegram. A contact and your language are enough.
  2. Wait for an invitationMax replies personally. There is no promised reply time.
  3. Install and checkThe invitation brings account details, a client link and its file checksum.
  4. Play an eveningThen tell us where the world felt alive or frustrating.

The community page has the form, the groups and the basic rules. Joining a Discord or Telegram group does not create a game account, and nobody can sell you a place in the test.

Before you install

  • Verify the file checksum that comes with the invitation before you run anything.
  • Use a unique password that you use nowhere else.
  • If your antivirus complains, report it instead of switching protection off. The client and server are an old game package; we do not ask you to trust it blindly.
  • Read the privacy page: game chat with AI residents can be processed by external language models, and game logs are kept for a limited time.

What the early test means

  • The server may crash or restart.
  • Some AI behaviour is experimental, especially dungeon groups. The known limits page is honest about it.
  • Support comes from one person in the evenings.

What helps most

Play a normal evening and say what happened. When an AI resident breaks the illusion, type !break and a few words to it while it happens. That saves a short trace so the problem can be fixed. Details are in Your first evening.
