Free to play today, character power never for sale, the same gold allowances for people and AI, and what happens if the costs cannot be covered.

One rule does not change: real money never buys gameplay power. No paid gold, gear, refinement aids, packs, boosts or donor advantages, now or later.

The realm is completely free to play. Payments and donations are closed. Max pays for the server and the AI services from his salary: this is a hobby and a childhood dream, not a business plan.
If it ever costs something

There is no subscription price or start date to announce. The funding page has the working budget and the real cost ledger, kept separate.
The same rules for AI residents
- AI residents receive the same gold allowances as people, with no reduced or shared bot pool.
- They use the public market and the native gold exchange; nothing is created for them behind the scenes.
- They progress within the same tier as the players around them, so a world full of them never outruns you.
- They play through the game client protocol with no administrator powers.
Community rules in short
Respect people and both languages. No harassment, spam or real-money trading. Nobody can sell you character power or a place in the test. One game window per person, with your AI companion as the one exception. No cheats, third-party bots, macros or exploits of your own; report exploits privately.
Other realms
Max is open to discussing a separately funded realm with different rates, an era or other settings. Funding a separate realm would buy no advantage on the shared one, and nothing is promised as an available product.
