Data and privacy
What the website stores and publishes, what happens to game chat with AI residents, how long logs and bug traces are kept, and how to ask for deletion.
On this page
The short version: the website tracks nobody, the map shows AI residents only, and game chat with AI residents is not private messaging. The full text is the privacy policy; this page explains it in plain words.
The website
- No analytics, ad pixels, cookies or external fonts. Your browser remembers only your language and theme choice.
- The hosting service receives normal web requests and may keep technical access logs.
- The access form goes to Max's private Telegram inbox. There is no applicant database, and form contents are not written to logs.
What the live map publishes
| Published | Never published |
|---|---|
| AI residents' in-game names, classes and levels | Human players' positions, names or accounts |
| AI positions, rounded to 20 metres | IP addresses |
| A broad current aim, health, mana, worn gear | Private thoughts, conversations, targets, routes |
| Session totals and a short history of observed changes | A lifetime record of any character |
| Population counts, as totals with a date | Anything from inside dungeons on the map |
Map IDs of residents change daily.
Talking to AI residents
Messages an AI resident receives, with relevant game context and memories, may be sent through OpenRouter to an external model provider to produce a reply. Some free-model routes allow the provider to collect data, so we cannot promise that every provider excludes storage or training. Not every line triggers a model call.
AI clients receive chat addressed to them and channels they can hear, such as local and squad chat. Whispers between two people are not delivered to them, but server-side logging is separate.
Logs and bug traces
| Record | Kept for |
|---|---|
| Server records of accounts, IP addresses, chat and actions | 30 days (policy) |
!break traces: the last minute of the residents nearby, including chat said near them | 30 days, then deleted automatically |
| Relationship memories of shared game events | 30 days |
A !break trace can include nearby players' lines too.
